Ride and Glide

  • Below is what we did for the Ski season 2022-23.  Next ski season is unsure at this time

  • See overview below.  Click here for  details
After 20+ years of teaching cross country skiing Ride and Glide is in for a big change. No, we're not quitting because we love teaching people how to ski but after 20 years we're a bit burnt out.

So for the 2022-23 season we will be making some changes.

  • There will not be a regularly scheduled instruction session each week.
  • Instead members may request a private/semi-private lesson from our list of instructors.
  • Then by mutual agreement with the student and the instructor about time and location a session will be scheduled.

Bike Stuff (Summer and Winter)

Here's a definition of a warm-up.   About 17-18mph on the flats.  Take it easy on the hills.  About 20 minutes.  In other words you shouldn't be going as hard as you can. Caution:  Too slow is dangerous as the people in the back of a big pack keep running up on the front guys.  Just take what the roads give you during the warm-up
